Dorot products are truly one-of-a-kind
Dorot Gardens was established in 1992 and is fully owned by Kibbutz Dorot in the southern part of Israel.
The kibbutz has more than 3,500 acres of field crops – garlic & herbs – which are picked, and then immediately chopped, packaged and frozen in a unique fast freeze process, maintaining their taste, freshness and nutritive value.
Over the years, the company has grown and expanded, and is today the largest supplier in Israel of fresh frozen seasoning products.
We have a modern, high tech production plant
Our production facility is fully automated and equipped with top of the line machinery. The plant operates three different production lines: the unique individual trays, the jars for private home use, and the larger pails for the food service and industrial markets. The plant’s production lines produce about 4,000 trays per hour and the annual turnout reaches several million trays and jars.
Our company adheres to the strictest industrial standards, including ISO 22000, BRC, HACCP, and different kosher standards such as the court of justice of the Jewish orthodox community, and OK overseas.
Our R&D department invests time and resources in developing new products, keeping the company constantly growing and moving towards new objectives.

In most parts of the world, Dorot Gardens’ frozen seasoning products introduce into the market a young, sometimes totally new, category.
Like all great ideas, the idea of crushed garlic came up as an answer to a clear consumer need: small garlic cloves which consumers simply did not like.
In the end of the 1980’s one of the Kibbutz members turned his home into the first experimentation laboratory and worked on what would years later become Dorot Gardens’ flagship product: frozen crushed garlic.
Our first plant for crushed garlic production was established in Kibbutz Dorot in 1992, in a caravan. And the rest, as they say – is History.
In addition to this, the pre-portioned packaging is simply unmatched. For us, in Dorot, this spells innovation, and this innovative spirit keeps on opening doors to new markets. The combination of freshness and great taste together with the convenience and availability is a sure win, which has without doubt proved itself, and will go on doing so in the future.
