Dorot Crushed Garlic Cubes Explained

Garlic is the unsung hero of your kitchen, lending its robust flavor and aroma to countless dishes. It’s been an ingredient in recipes for millennia – as this article shows – and even today it’s used in cuisines worldwide. However, amidst the hustle and bustle of modern life, who has time to peel, chop and crush fresh garlic every time a recipe calls for it? Or store garlic bulbs, use them before they go bad, and replace them on a regular basis? Exactly – fresh garlic, for all its usefulness, can be a real pain to work with – unless you’re using Dorot crushed garlic cubes that is!

The Benefit of Using Dorot Crushed Garlic Cubes

Our crushed garlic cubes are culinary gems that encapsulate the essence of fresh garlic in a convenient, pre-crushed form. The convenience of ready-to-use ingredients is often a much sought-after boon for home cooks seeking efficiency and quicker cooking processes without compromising taste – but flavor, freshness and convenience aren’t the only ways that our garlic cubes are revolutionizing the way we incorporate garlic into our culinary creations. To add to that convenience we’ve pre-measured our garlic cubes so that each one equates to one clove of garlic, and because of the fact that the garlic cubes are frozen (and the way they are produced), each one has a two-year shelf-life as well.

Where Can I Buy Dorot Gardens Crushed Garlic?

The Dorot Gardens Creation Process

All of the garlic that makes it into each Dorot crushed garlic tray is grown by us. Once it reaches peak freshness, it’s picked, prepped, crushed and frozen, all within 90 minutes. This speed of operation (and the flash-freezing process that contributes to that speed) helps to lock in the flavor and freshness, and preserve those qualities so that they’re still there when you come to use our crushed garlic in your dishes.

Comparison with Other Garlic Products

In a market saturated with garlic products, Dorot crushed garlic stands out as a top-quality product. Our cubes are less hassle to work with than whole fresh garlic, last longer than minced garlic in jars, and feel more natural and less processed than garlic powder. Through all these qualities Dorot crushed garlic offers an unparalleled combination of convenience and flavor that you just can’t get out of any other single garlic product.

More About Dorot Gardens

It’s true that Dorot Gardens started with these very crushed garlic cubes, and that they’re still one of our flagship products to this day – but they aren’t our only product anymore. Today we can apply the same production and flash-freezing process to a range of other herbs and ingredients – from turmeric and cilantro to sautéed glazed onions – all ready to use whenever your recipe calls for them, with a simple ‘pop, drop, done’.
