Dorot Gardens Fire Roasted Pineapple Salsa

  • 2 plum tomatoes, cut in half
  • 2 Poblano peppers, seeds removed and cut in half
  • 2 Jalapeño or Fresno peppers, seeds removed
  • 1 medium red onion, sliced thick
  • 3 thick slices of pineapple
  • Olive oil spray

Ingredients For Salsa:

  • 3 frozen cubes Dorot Gardens Basil
  • 3 frozen cubes Dorot Gardens Cilantro
  • 2 frozen cubes Dorot Gardens Garlic
  • Juice of one lime
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Tortilla chips, for serving


  1. Pre-heat your broiler or grill on high.
  2. Spray vegetables with olive oil and place on a baking sheet. Broil on top rack or grill on high heat, flipping often, until vegetables are cooked and charred. Once cooled down, remove skin from peppers
  3. Place vegetables and the Dorot Gardens herbs and garlic with the lime juice in a food processor. Season with salt and pepper and process until chunky, not too thin
  4. Season more and serve with chips
