Tips for Easy Prep & Flavor Boosts

Peeling Made Simple: Older eggs peel more easily than fresh ones. Cooking them in an air fryer or Instant Pot can also make peeling a breeze.

Flavor Variations:

  • Swap green onion for chives or finely minced red onion.
  • Add grated dill pickles or a spoon of sweet relish for tang.
  • Use half Greek yogurt and half mayo for a lighter, creamy texture.
  • Stir in herbs like parsley, dill, or basil—Dorot’s cubes make it mess-free.

Best Ways to Serve Egg Salad

FAQs about This Recipe

Keep any leftovers in a tightly sealed container in the fridge. It stays fresh for up to 3 days. Give it a quick stir before serving, and avoid letting it sit out too long.

For safety, don’t leave it out at room temperature for more than 2 hours. Egg-based dishes can spoil quickly if not kept cool.

Freezing egg salad isn’t ideal. It can become watery and lose its texture when thawed.

But if you must, store it in an airtight container and use it within a month. Thaw overnight in the fridge and stir well before serving.
