Ingredients:
- 1 ball pizza dough, found in supermarket
- 1/4 C. olive oil
- 3 cubes Dorot Gardens frozen garlic
- 3 cubes Dorot Gardens frozen basil
- 1/4 tsp. red pepper flakes
- 1/2 tsp. Kosher salt
For marinara dipping sauce:
- 2 Tblsp. olive oil
- 2 cubes Dorot Gardens forzen garlic
- 8-oz. can of crushed tomatoes or marinara sauce
- 2 cubes Dorot Gardens frozen basil
- Salt and Pepper, to taste
Directions:
- Pre-heat oven to 400F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Flatten pizza dough to about 1/2-inch thickness using flour to help it not stick. Cut into thin strands and tie into small knots.
- In a medium bowl add the rest of the ingredients and once frozen garlic and basil thaw, mix and add in your garlic knots.
- Place garlic knots on the baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes until knots are golden brown.
- While garlic knots are baking make marinara dipping sauce by sautéing garlic in olive oil in a medium saucepan on medium heat until lightly browned. Add tomato sauce and basil and mix. Season with salt and pepper and set in a bowl.
- Serve warm garlic knots with dipping sauce.
